1. Our commitment
We design and build the Service so that it can be used by people with a wide range of abilities and assistive technologies. Where we discover gaps against WCAG 2.2 AA we prioritise fixes as part of our regular release cycle.
2. Features we provide
- Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
- Visible focus indication and semantic HTML structure.
- Sufficient colour contrast on primary text and interactive controls.
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content.
- Compatibility with common screen readers on modern browsers.
3. Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded documents produced by procurement authorities, and certain rich data visualisations, may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Where we identify such content we work to provide an accessible alternative on request.
4. Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need content in a different format, please write to laura@contracttenders.com. We aim to acknowledge your report within two working days and to respond substantively within 20 working days.
5. Enforcement
Where you are not satisfied with our response, in the United Kingdom you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service, or the Equality and Human Rights Commission, who are responsible for enforcing equalities legislation.
