Getting Started

The basics of what ContractTenders is and who we're built for.

ContractTenders is a Procurement Intelligence Platform designed for consulting firms, professional services organisations and technology companies pursuing government tenders, development bank procurement, framework agreements and enterprise RFPs. It combines opportunity discovery, bid qualification, proposal management and organisational knowledge into one connected platform, helping teams find better opportunities, prepare stronger proposals and win more contracts.

ContractTenders is built for organisations that compete for contracts. Typical customers include management consultancies, digital transformation consultancies, engineering firms, technology companies, cyber security consultancies, healthcare consultancies, training providers, professional services firms, NGOs, international development organisations, architecture and design consultancies, and environmental consultancies.

Yes. Whether you're an independent consultant pursuing your first government framework or a multinational consultancy managing hundreds of bids every year, ContractTenders scales with your organisation.

ContractTenders monitors procurement opportunities from around the world, including the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, Canada, Australia, Africa, Caribbean, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, alongside international procurement published by organisations such as the World Bank, United Nations, African Development Bank and many others.

Most teams are exploring live opportunities within minutes of signing up on the Free Workspace. Enterprise onboarding, including single sign-on setup and knowledge base ingestion, typically completes within one to two weeks depending on the volume of legacy documents to import.

Procurement Opportunities

ContractTenders monitors government tenders, consultancy opportunities, framework agreements, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), grant-funded consultancy assignments, enterprise procurement, innovation challenges and framework call-offs.

We continuously monitor opportunities from governments, development banks, donor agencies and enterprise procurement platforms. These include sources such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank, United Nations, European Union, USAID, FCDO, Contracts Finder (UK), SAM.gov and TED (Europe), plus hundreds of additional procurement sources.

Many procurement sources are monitored throughout the day. Update cadence depends on the publishing schedule of each portal; new opportunities are processed and made available as they are detected.

Yes. Create saved searches based on your keywords, countries, sectors, buyers or funding organisations and receive notifications whenever matching opportunities become available.

Yes. Any opportunity can be uploaded manually or by URL, and the platform will parse the terms of reference, deadlines and evaluation criteria so your team can qualify and respond in the same workspace.

3

Opportunity Qualification

Every opportunity can be evaluated against your organisation's experience, technical expertise, geography, sector focus and strategic priorities. Instead of asking 'Can we bid?' the platform helps answer 'Should we bid?'

No software can accurately guarantee whether a bid will win. Instead, ContractTenders helps identify strengths, risks and strategic fit so your team can make better-informed bid or no-bid decisions.

Yes. Bid or no-bid decisions, scoring, reviewer sign-off and rationale can all be captured against an opportunity so future teams inherit institutional memory rather than repeating past mistakes.

4

Proposal Workspace

ContractTenders helps generate structured first drafts using your organisation's own knowledge, previous proposals, methodologies and project experience. Every proposal remains fully editable and should always be reviewed by your team before submission.

Examples include Expressions of Interest, Technical Proposals, Tender Responses, Executive Summaries, Methodologies, Work Plans, Staffing Plans, CVs, Risk Registers, Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks and Implementation Plans.

Yes. Previous proposals become part of your organisation's reusable knowledge base, helping future proposals build on previous experience.

Yes. Proposals can be exported to Word and PDF, and you can apply your own document templates and branding.

5

Organisational Knowledge

Organisation Knowledge is your firm's searchable knowledge library. It stores previous proposals, methodologies, case studies, CVs, project reports and supporting documents so your team can reuse valuable experience instead of starting from scratch.

Yes. Uploaded documents are processed so your team can search across them using natural language.

Yes. Projects, organisations, experts and documents are connected, helping users quickly discover related knowledge across the organisation.

The knowledge base is designed to scale into the tens of thousands of documents. For very large legacy libraries our team can help plan a phased ingestion so results remain fast and relevant.

6

Collaboration

Yes. Teams can collaborate on proposals, review sections, leave comments, track revisions and manage approvals within one workspace.

Yes. Every revision is tracked so you always know who changed what and when.

Yes. Guest access can be granted to specific opportunities or proposals so consortium partners, subcontractors and reviewers can contribute without seeing the rest of your workspace.

7

Security

Security is a core design principle. ContractTenders uses enterprise-grade security practices, encrypted storage, role-based access control and audit logging to protect organisational data.

Your organisation always owns its data. ContractTenders does not claim ownership of your proposals, methodologies or organisational knowledge.

No. Your organisation's information is never used to train public AI models. Your knowledge remains private to your workspace.

Yes. Enterprise plans support SSO via SAML and OpenID Connect with providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace and Okta.

Data is hosted on enterprise cloud infrastructure with UK and EU regions available. Enterprise customers can request data residency commitments as part of onboarding.

Workspace administrators can export or delete data at any time. Written deletion or export requests can also be sent to laura@contracttenders.com and are actioned within the timeframes defined in our Data Processing Agreement.

8

AI and Automation

Yes. Artificial intelligence helps organise information, improve workflows and assist with proposal preparation. However, ContractTenders is designed to support your team's expertise, not replace it. Every recommendation remains reviewable and editable.

12

Competitive Questions

Government portals publish opportunities. ContractTenders helps you discover, organise, qualify and manage them from one connected workspace while bringing together proposal development, organisational knowledge and collaboration.

General AI tools can help generate text, but they don't understand your organisation's previous proposals, methodologies, client history, bid processes or procurement pipeline. ContractTenders grounds recommendations in your organisation's own knowledge and provides procurement-specific workflows designed for professional bid teams.

Traditional alert services notify you when opportunities are published. ContractTenders helps you discover opportunities, assess strategic fit, prepare proposals, collaborate with your team, capture organisational knowledge and learn from previous submissions. It's designed as a complete procurement intelligence platform, not just an alert service.

13

Best Practices

Successful organisations typically focus on opportunities aligned with their expertise, invest time in bid or no-bid decisions, reuse proven methodologies, build reusable organisational knowledge, review every proposal before submission and capture lessons learned from every outcome. ContractTenders supports each of these practices through one connected platform.

No. One of the biggest causes of wasted bid effort is pursuing opportunities that are unlikely to succeed. Prioritising quality over quantity generally leads to better long-term outcomes.

14

Future Vision

No. While many customers begin with public-sector procurement, ContractTenders also supports enterprise procurement, international development, healthcare, technology, construction, education, climate and other specialist markets.

Our vision is to become the operating system for professional procurement and business development, helping organisations discover opportunities, build stronger proposals, manage organisational knowledge and continuously improve how they win work.
